It’s A Celebration! If the 70’s are your happy place, make a resy at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato for “70’s On Sunday” where Fisher and Thames (and company) fabulously perform the best of the 70’s music - as you enjoy excellent food, drinks and service at welcoming Vibrato.

Greg and I first enjoyed the song stylings and performance of Fisher and Thames at the Thalians 2022 Holiday In Hollywood Winter Gala - benefiting UCLA Operation Mend. We were thrilled to learn that they would be performing at Vibrato the June 4th weekend – as we were to be in LA for a charity event.

We love everything about Vibrato and had the pleasure of meeting Eden Alpert when we visited last November.

The Fisher and Thames show on June 4th was fantastic! The show opens with their versions of the musical opening of 70’s TV shows that we all remember and love. They act out – in full costumes – on location – hilariously – their recreations - shown on the stage backdrop screen. As it transports you right back to that 70’s vibe, this opening literally sets the stage for the evening’s musical performances to follow.

All of the band members and performing guests were so talented and entertaining. Tricia and Byron’s performance attire is beautifully, nostalgically styled – as are they – inside and out. The tribute – with backdrop screen photos – to Tricia’s legendary mother, Connie Stevens, was as heartfelt and lovely as the woman - herself – has always been.

Their song selections really capture all of the feels of the 70’s – from easy listening, to classic rock, to Motown, to pop favorites, to a strong disco finish – that had many up and dancing.

Though we won’t be able to make it down for the August 20th show, we are so happy to know that Fisher and Thames will – once again - be performing at The Thalians Winter Gala.

We also look forward to our next visit to Vibrato – hopefully, this fall. Our thanks to Paco – our server – who took great care of us on June 4th!
