Sharath Massage
07/09/2025
What does Sharath mean? It is a Hebrew word meaning “To serve” or “to minister” which is something I love to do for others in every area of my life. You pronounce it Shuh-wrath.
The symbol you see in logo (the bud of the flower” is the Hebrew letter Shin representing the "Sh" portion of Sharath.
The letter means "to change for the good". A person realizes his faults and imperfections, and makes an attempt to improve those qualities. Exactly what people are doing when they come to me! Whether for physical pain and problems or just the need to rest and quiet their mind. I guess that fits in the SHHH portion of it.
I also love how this Hebrew letter resembles the shape of the human heart and reminds me how I am not only treating the body, but also the heart and mind. A whole body approach!
It always makes for a good conversation starter and really speaks to the “heart” of this service and me!
This month I am starting near normal massage times of 50 minutes. A normal massage session is 50-55 minutes plus changing time, so we're nearly there! These 50 minute sessions will still be discounted to $40! Then, as long as December goes well, it will go to the normal price and time in January, as well as starting to add on 10-15 minutes of free massage when you come in so I can continue building up to doing multiple clients in a day. Thank you all so much for your patience and generosity and flexibility. Have a wonderful holiday season!
