Please join us in welcoming Patti Lewis, the new Apprenticeship Liaison for the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District (CMPDD)!

With 28 years of experience in education and workforce coordination, Patti is deeply committed to bridging the gap between the classroom and the workforce. In her role, she will be helping Mississippians in Ecosystem 7 (Southwest and Central Mississippi) obtain the critical training needed to support our state’s High Priority Occupations pipeline.

A few highlights from Patti’s incredible career include:
- Piloting the Raytheon Summer Internship Program for high school students.
- Organizing comprehensive career initiatives like Mock Interviews, Reality Fairs, and the Bulldog Workforce Summit.
- Assisting students in earning industry certifications and securing essential transportation for employment access.

As Patti beautifully notes, “We each have a purpose and responsibility to use our skills to serve our community with a servant’s heart.” We are thrilled to see how she will continue to expand Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for students and employers alike.
