Considering the times, I’d encourage every fellow Music Leader to find your “thing”… outside of what you do inside the four walls.

My God Mom, Gail Fulgham Weems used to tell me this all the time- provide a solution to a problem and you can make money.

The vocal part recordings is just one of those things.

Finding yourself valuable in multiple spaces will help you not become the “I’ve been here 40 years and you gotta earn your spot” person- holding newcomers back bc of their own insecurities…

to November 2025… I was able to be a part of a musical tribute to the living legend The Kurt Carr during the late night musical.
We ended the tribute with “In The Sanctuary” where he came out and took it to another level along with Dr Williams and Pastor Kim Burrell
