Join us for a Celebration of Helga Tesar’s life on Thursday, May 28th (the day before her 73rd birthday). Mom loved going to the Silver Dollar, whether it was to grab lunch with her family or grabbing a glass of wine and dancing with friends. This is an open invitation to gather together for a lively, high-spirited party in honor of Helga’s memory.

A reception will take place beginning at 6PM with Helga’s kids and grandkids, during which Helga’s remaining handmade fashion pieces (leather vests, scarves, dresses, etc.) will be displayed and available in a silent auction. Proceeds will be donated to Helga’s favorite local causes through Old Bill’s. At 7PM, the family will make statements and share stories, followed by some good ole country music provided by Tasha & the Goodfellows at 7:30PM. Let’s boogie.

Dress Code: Those lucky enough to already own Helga’s Design pieces are encouraged to wear and flaunt them. Everyone else is encouraged to dress up with a little fancy country flair.

In lieu of flowers, cards or gifts, the family requests that you simply hold Helga’s memory fondly. Follow her lead, and always carry love in your heart for your families, friends and all those around you.

Arsenic and Old Lace opens tomorrow (Thursday 12/4) and runs for two weekends. Tickets are picking up and we won’t want you to miss this hilarious production of Joseph Kesselring’s classic slapstick comedy.
