Blackman Charter Township, MI – The Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT) would like to inform residents and motorists of an upcoming bridge closure on Parnall Rd., located between Lansing Ave. and Cooper Rd.

Construction on the bridge is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 8, 2026, and is expected to be completed by Friday, June 19, 2026, weather permitting. During construction, the bridge will be closed to through traffic and detours will be posted. However, local residents will continue to have access to their properties.

This is going to impede access to a lot of stuff...but this road really needs the work done. Plan ahead and watch out for the impatient morons...er...motorists.
