"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." This passage comes from the book of Revelation in the bible. (Rev. 5:6). The passages just before and after this, beginning in chapter 4 and continuing afterwards, are some of the passages in the bible that explain the one thing that God honors - the sacrifice. That's why we must, by faith, place our hopes on the sacrifice of Christ and nothing else. The Christian walk is an experience born of faith in that work. It is this and nothing else.
