As I sit here this morning, sipping my matcha latte and reflecting on last week—the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the other tragedies across our land—my heart is heavy. Our oldest daughter, Brianna, is the same age as Charlie, which makes the grief deeply personal. I mourn for his family and for our nation. Yet in the midst of sorrow, a holy fire has risen within me.

This fire didn’t begin with Charlie’s passing—it’s been burning for some time, but it was recently fanned into flame at a revival gathering with Tracey Mitchell. Since 2018, I’ve hosted women’s gatherings where we pray for our nation, our families, and walk boldly in our God-given callings. I see the same fire burning in others, and I know: the fire of the Holy Spirit is spreading across America and the world.

Bill and I began pastoring in 1994, and out of that ministry, The Goodness Project was birthed. Our mission has always been to win souls for Christ while meeting families in crisis with practical resources—making it clear that every gift comes from the Lord. We’ve turned down funding when asked to stop praying at our events, because we will never be ashamed to proclaim the name of Jesus.

Years ago, God gave me a vision of hundreds of thousands rushing forward to accept Christ. I never knew how or when it would come—but I believe that time is near. Charlie’s life has stirred us all to greater boldness.

Lately, I’ve been asking the Lord: Is there more You want me to do? More You want me to say? It’s not about striving—it’s about surrender. I long to live close enough to Him that I hear His whisper and follow His lead. I pray my family is found radically devoted to Christ, unafraid to live as the Bride He is coming back for.
Following Christ always comes at a cost. For Him, it cost His life. For Charlie, it cost his life. Am I willing to lay down mine? Are you?
Because when you walk in your God-given identity, you will find your voice—not necessarily the loudest, but the one that lets the Lion of Judah roar through you, bringing freedom to mankind.

Yesterday, I had the profound honor of leading worship alongside the anointed Myshel Wilkins at the Historic Prayer Summit for Christian Women in Media.

Together, we lifted our voices in unified praise, interceded fervently, and symbolically placed our prodigals on the cross, surrendering them completely to God.

It was a powerful time of spiritual renewal and sisterhood. Seeing my CWIMA sisters igniting the fire of faith was truly inspiring.
