Carlton Pope, President of Jackson Sand recently attended the 2025 Deep South Turf Expo in Biloxi Mississippi.This regional show features over one-hundred exhibitors, industry suppliers as well as educational sessions on the latest Turfgrass management topics.

Carlton Pope President of Jackson Sand recently attended the 2025 "Deep South Turf Expo". Kicking off the Expo with a Golf Scramble Tournament, and a Tailgate Celebration held at The Preserve Golf Club in Vancleave Mississippi. This event included sponsors, exhibitors, and golf course superintendents. Attendees had the opportunity to network and mingle with others in the industry from all over the Southeast. A special thank you, to Dr. Wendell Hutchins from the University of Arkansas for taking time out to discuss his innovative approach to turfgrass management.

Thank you to Tag Service Center in Jackson Tennessee for hosting our quarterly safety meeting and providing lunch we appreciate the hospitality. Also, thank you to Dave Porch from Porch-Stribling-Webb of Waverly Tennessee for the interesting presentation.
