Women’s History Month Highlight: Ms. Kessey Monae

Ms. Kessey Monae of Jackson, Mississippi, is a singer, actress, entrepreneur, and versatile entertainer whose work reflects resilience, creativity, and purpose.

A graduate of Holmes Community College with a degree in Voice and Performing Arts, Ms. Monae has built a career performing in stage productions, community events, and musical showcases. Her talent and dedication have earned her several honors, including the Holmes Music Major Award, Literature Award, Growl Newspaper Award, and multiple talent show recognitions. Through her artistry, she continues to inspire others while pursuing her passion for music and performance.
