After losing nine seniors to graduation, the Indians entered the 2026-27 summer team camps with an unknown identity. The first week of play, they participated in the Bethel University Team Camp only winning three out of the nine total games they played. They regrouped and capitalized from their losses by going on an eighteen game win streak before losing to Sikeston High School(MO). They finished the summer with a 22-7 record, a sense of who they are, and understand that they have much more work to do.
