Look at Periwinkle go! 💨 The resilient young Magellanic penguin is inspiring everyone with his determination to thrive. After a tough start in life, and two surgeries to repair torn ligaments in his right leg, Periwinkle made his debut last week at Penguin Point, proudly sporting a special boot for support. Despite everything he’s been through, this brave little fighter is already swimming and splashing alongside his penguin pals, showing the power of perseverance. “He’s a fighter,” says Head Veterinarian Dr. Karen Wolf. With laser treatments and physical therapy, Periwinkle’s recovery is a true team effort.
