🌿🚌The Grade 8 students had a fantastic trip to the Adirondacks in NY state! The class spent part of their time immersed in a study of hydrology with Michael D’Aleo to round out the physics block he began with the class in March.

Their studies included a variety of experiences of water: Tasting mineral waters from five different natural springs at Saratoga Springs (each spring tastes surprisingly different), hiking to a waterfall and observing the pattern of water flow and examining a gravity water system.

The class also spent a day at Fort Ticonderoga, bringing to life of some of the American History they studied earlier this year.

These activities were rounded out by visits to Lake Placid and the Olympic Museum and to the Hyde Collection (an art museum) in Glens Falls, along with lots of time together creating joyful memories as a class.

Thank you to all who helped make this trip possible! πŸŽ‰
