Local Comic Shop Day

Join LCSD Grassroots Comic Creator Campaign: We're a non-profit, so we rely on the support of our creator and publisher allies to rally around Local Comic Shop Day on social media this week. We encourage you authors and artists to promote your new work coming out from now thru November, and if you add our account as a collaborator we can boost your message and it will be seen alongside other creators in the campaign.

To maximize reach and effectiveness:
⭐Post natively to Instagram and/or Facebook (no cross-posts from X/Twitter).
👾Use carousel posts (3–5 images) or short 15-60 second Reels for higher engagement. Please use text or closed captions.
⭐Please be genuine, and share something personal about your relationship with comic shops. Examples:
❤Shout out to the first comic shop you visited
❤tell us about your lcs
❤tell us about a store you did an event at
❤tell us what it's like to go into a brick and mortar store and see your work on the shelves.
👋End with a call to action, like: “Go to YOUR local comic shop on Saturday September 27!” "Find your local shop and celebrate!"
