ETAP Spark 2026 in ⚡
June 5, Lima. Our user conference in Peru, and a real milestone for ETAP in South America.
South America is one of the most active regions in the world right now when it comes to power infrastructure investment and grid development. Being here, in person, with the engineers and professionals driving that work, matters.
The day covered a lot of ground. AI-driven workflows, advanced simulation, real-time analysis, and live demos that gave attendees a hands-on look at what ETAP 2026 is bringing to the table.
🙏 A sincere thank you to our speakers for their contributions:
- Dr. Gustavo Gómez, Profesor Sistemas Eléctricos de Potencia, Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica
- Dra. Eunice Villicaña, Decana de la Facultad de Ingeniería, UTEC
- Ing. Rafael Vera, Docente Ingenieria de la Energía, UTEC
- Ing. Mario López, Coordinador de Energía, Holcim
- Ing. César Butrón, Presidente, COES
- Ing. Andrés Vergara, Consultor
- Rafael Franco Manrique, Director of G-Energies, Global Control
- Nicolás Gallo Padilla, Commercial Director, Global Control
- Ing. Manuel Valverde, Engineering & Maintenance Manager, Anglo American Quellaveco S.A.
- Ing. Christian Luyo, Design Firms & Pre-Sales Manager SAM, Schneider Electric

ETAP is, at its core, 𝗮 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, committed not only to developing advanced electrical engineering software, but also to educating future engineers and raising the overall understanding of electrical solutions in the market. That is why our participation at the 𝗚𝗘𝗜𝗜 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held in Brest, France last week, was especially meaningful.
Over the course of the three-day event, ETAP technical specialists spent time with educators, researchers, and, most importantly, students from the GEII electrical engineering and industrial computing university program across France.
Events like this create a valuable bridge between academia and industry, helping prepare the skills and talent that will be essential for the . At ETAP, we truly value the time we spend with students, because they are the future engineers who will design, operate, and optimize tomorrow’s .
Highlights included:
⚡ Presenting ETAP electrical engineering solutions to future industry professionals
⚡ Engaging with faculty members from GEII departments across France
⚡ Demonstrating our software and discussing the evolving challenges of the profession
⚡ Taking part in the key moments of the conference — all the way through to the closing gala
👏 Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to exchange ideas with us, and to the organizers for their warm welcome.
A special thanks also goes to our specialists Ivan Elidrissi and Jean-François Humeau for their commitment and dedication.

🚍 ETAP & Schneider Electric: driving the future of electrical engineering
The ETAP team had the privilege of joining Schneider Electric’s booth at in Barcelona, where we presented a joint project showcasing the value of collaboration between both companies and the potential of our integrated solutions.
During the session, we demonstrated how SEE Electrical and its integration with Schneider’s ecosystem tools help optimize detailed engineering, improve design efficiency, and enable the creation of electrical diagrams in a more agile, accurate, and connected way.
This joint approach reinforces a shared vision: moving towards more digital, collaborative, and efficient engineering, where tool integration helps reduce errors, accelerate processes, and improve the quality of electrical design from the earliest project stages.
We continue working to transform the way electrical engineering is designed, analyzed, and delivered.
