🌍 Happy World Wildlife Day! 🦅 Today we celebrate what makes our planet so special: the incredible diversity of life found in every corner of our planet. Today we celebrate the wildlife that makes our planet so vibrant, our cultures more rich, and our lives more fulfilling. We also today recognize that our way of living is dramatically impacting the very character of our planet. Wildlife populations have collapsed dramatically over the past 50 years. The 2020 WWF Living Planet Report indicated that humans have caused a 68% decrease in wildlife populations globally between 1970-2016, a terrifying loss when considering the role all wildlife plays in maintaining a healthy and habitable planet.

It’s on all of us to be aware of the impacts we have on our planet and relentlessly push for leadership that puts the planet first, and the planet before profits.
