early as the age of 7, I remember decorating my parents home; accessorizing it with pillows I made from fabric scraps. Not to mention, always having a very strong opinion of what goes with what. I started my career in Interior Design as a Home Stager. The way I got started is an interesting stroke of luck. My husband and I owned a condo and wanted to sell it. I contacted a Realtor from Keller Williams and had her come out so I could interview her and have her assess my home to determine its value. As she was walking through our home: she kept saying how beautiful it was and kept telling me I really had a knack for design. She then stated, that I should really consider becoming a Home Stager, and that if I was interested, she would love to hire me as her personal Home Stager. I was really excited and a lot nervous. I have never been one to turn down a good challenge and readily took on this new chapter in my life. I loved staging homes and doing it started to spark my interest in other job possibilities that the field of Interior Design could offer me. I soon enrolled in the highly accredited Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, CA, to broaden my knowledge of the field. Shortly after completing the program, I opened Elan Cachet. Over the past few years, since completing the program at IDI and opening Elan Cachet, I have been Color Consulting for an International Professional House Painting Company and working design jobs on a referral only basis. I have met so many amazing people along the way. I feel so complete when I make my clients space everything they dreamt of. I truly love what I do and am thankful everyday I do it.
