Today is United Nations; World Water Day! Mission Is Possible's goal is to bring safe, clean water to villages throughout Tanzania. Since inception, our team in Tanzania has developed 61 new water wells and repaired over 70 non-functioning wells bringing clean safe water to over 225,000 Tanzanians in remote villages. Our most recent well was dug in the village of Ombweya.

Imagine having to walk 3 hours a day, carrying 40 lbs, in order to have water. Water that might make you sick or even kill you. But you have to have water. A clean water well gives more than just clean water - it also gives time back to so kids can go to school and it prevents women from being put in unsafe situations hours from home.
