Solo EV delivered to first US customer When it comes to quirky little cars, a lot of them have a way of forever staying on the cusp of commercial availability, without ever actually reaching consumers. Well, you can't say that about the Solo, a three-wheeled electric vehicle that was recently shipped to its first US buyer.

I wish somebody would develop an all electric, narrow (max 1000mm wide) fully enclosed motorcycle with car safety and comfort, to combat this problem.

This is a short video of the CTx proof of concept I built in my garage. The build took about 5 months and features an Aprilia RSV - 1000R engine and Ducati wheels.
The production version of the CTx will be all electric in 4 performance levels. 35KW, 55KW, 75KW and 90KW in the high performance version that's shown in all the renderings. The lower performance CTx's will come with thinner wheels and a less aggressive stance. The projected MSRP will be around $14,000 for the 35KW version.
This is a short video demonstrating the tilt and balance software in a 1:5 Scale CTx. Notice that the model tilts without countersteering thanks to the tilt software installed.
