There are reports of nationwide, intermittent cell phone issues with AT&T and possibly other carriers.

This outage is not specific to North Shore Regional it is an issue with the cell phone carriers.

This outage is preventing AT&T cell phone customers from making and receiving any phone calls (including 911 in some cases).

If you are a customer that is affected and cannot reach 911, if you are connected to a WiFi network, you can utilize the Wi-Fi calling function on your phone. Here is a quick "how-to" to do that based on your phone type:
How to turn on WiFi calling on your iPhone
-Click on “Settings”
-Click “Cellular”
-“Wi-Fi Calling”
-Switch “Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone” on
-Click “Enable” Wi-Fi Calling”

How to turn on WiFi calling on your Android phone
-Click on Settings
-Tap Calls
-Tap Wi-Fi Calling
How to turn on WiFi calling on your Samsung phone
-Click the “Phone” icon
-Tap the “More Options” (three vertical dots)
-Tap “Settings”
-Tap “Wi-Fi Calling” and then toggle the switch to the right to turn the feature on.

If you don’t see this option, it may be that your carrier doesn’t support this feature.
