Inman Elementary, Holly Springs-Motlow, and New Prospect Elementary representatives spent time this week at the ArtsNOW Conference in Columbia, growing their skills and gathering new ideas to bring back to our students and classrooms. Thank you for your commitment to continuous learning and creating engaging experiences for every child.

We are excited to announce and congratulate our elected PTO Board for the 2026–2027 school year!

Our PTO plays such an important role in supporting our students, staff, and school community through events, celebrations, resources, and so much more. We are incredibly thankful for the parents and family members who are willing to give their time, energy, and hearts to serve our school.

Please join us in congratulating this amazing group of leaders as they prepare for a great school year ahead. We are thankful for their willingness to serve and can’t wait to see all they accomplish for our school community! 💙🦅

For 38 years, Mrs. Karen Trout has poured her heart into generations of children, families, coworkers, and future educators. The majority of those years were spent right here at Inman Elementary School, where her impact can be seen in countless lives and felt in every hallway she helped shape.

Some teachers leave lessons behind. Mrs. Trout leaves a legacy.

Through the years, she has been a safe place for students, a trusted teammate for coworkers, a partner to parents, and a mentor to student teachers beginning their own journeys in education. Her fingerprints are all over Inman Elementary — in the traditions she helped build, the students she believed in, the teachers she encouraged, and the love she poured into this school community every single day.

The true measure of a teacher is not only found in the years they teach, but in the lives they change along the way. For 38 years, Mrs. Trout has done exactly that.

Today, we would love for this post to become a celebration of her impact. 💙
