I managed to rough out a couple more bowls from the pecan tree that fell in our yard during Helene. This tree section sat for some time. There is some spalting and some bug holes but it should make for some “interesting” bowls…one day. For now they get the wax and begin the aging process.

A round of bottlestoppers headed to The Maker's Market, LLC . One of these would go well with a bottle of wine. Maybe even part of a valentines gift .
304 stainless steel bases with viton o-rings and wood tops from various woods . Walnut, oak, pear, cedar, and cherry. I’m a big fan of the cherry one.
The walnut came from the side of the road (on the way to the landfill. Cherry from a goat farmer clearing her field. Oak from our old land plot. The pear was from our yard. The cedar was scraps from an urn I turned many years ago.
