As part of Black History Month, WCCCD presents author Victoria Christopher Murray at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in the Frank Hayden Room at the WCCCD Curtis L. Ivery Downtown Campus in Detroit.
Victoria Christopher Murray is the New York Times bestselling author of more than 30 novels and will be discussing her New York Times bestseller that she co-authored with Heather Terrell, The Personal Librarian.
The Personal Librarian tells the story about J.P. Morgan’s personal librarian, a Black woman named Belle da Costa Greene, who was forced to hide her true identity and pass as white in order to leave a lasting legacy that ultimately enriched our nation.
