Thank you for trusting us with something so incredibly personal. For welcoming us into your lives and home, sharing your memories, and allowing us to help tell Garret’s story in the most honest way we knew how.

This song has lived with us for a long time.

It originally began as a demo on emiller2525 ‘s SoundCloud, never fully knowing where it would
end up. It was something we had touched at different points in our lives: through The Maguas ,through different seasons of life, and busy days that never really stopped moving forward.

But we always knew there was something here worth returning to.

Something that meant more than just a song.

At the heart of it all is Erik. He wrote the lyrics, he shaped the melody, and this song carries his voice in its most honest form. This project began with his vision, and we’re grateful to have helped bring it to life in a way that now carries even deeper meaning.

Because Garret was part of all of our lives in different ways.

We grew up together. We graduated together. We shared years of memories, laughter, and moments that will stay with us forever.

This project became a reflection of the impact one person can have on so many lives and a way to honor a friend, and to celebrate the light he left behind.

To everyone who helped bring this vision to life, thank you for believing in this story and pouring so much of yourselves into it.
