What if that pain isn’t something to run from…
what if it’s something to better understand?

Grief has a way of making us feel like something is wrong with us.
Like we should be “over it” by now.
Like the sadness means we’re stuck.

But maybe it means the opposite.

Maybe missing someone…
is proof of how deeply you loved them.
How much they mattered.
How much of them still lives in you.

Maybe missing something or somewhere…
Is proof how much it means to you.
How much the moments there mean to you.

You can feel the loss…
and still feel the love.

You can carry the ache…
and still celebrate the memories.

Both can exist at the same time.
And maybe that’s not weakness-
maybe that’s what it means to be human.

If you’ve ever lost someone or something you love…
this is a space to remember them.

Drop their name in the comments.

Or share a memory that still makes you smile.

Let’s turn this into something more than a comment section - let it be a place where they’re still felt.

Thank you Andrew and thank you Elmo for sharing what so many of us sometimes struggle to put into words.

I’ve lived through seasons where nothing seemed to be moving...

Doors I thought would open… didn’t.
Plans I had mapped out… stalled.

And I found myself asking the same question over and over:

“Why isn’t anything working?”

Somewhat out of frustration…
More out of just not understanding.

Because I was showing up.
I was doing the work.

And still… nothing.

But looking back now, I can see something I couldn’t see then…

It wasn’t delay.
It was development.

It didn’t feel like it at the time… but it was necessary.

Life wasn’t holding anything back from me -
it was preparing me for what was ahead.

Strength I didn’t know I’d need.
Perspective I didn’t yet have.
Capacity I hadn’t grown into.

And in those quiet, unclear seasons…
something in me was changing.

And that shift changed everything.

Sometimes the delay isn’t denial…
It’s life shaping you into the person who’s ready for what you’re meant to receive.

So if you’re in a season where things feel slow… uncertain… or stuck -

I know how that feels.

But don’t assume it’s not working.

You might just be in the part of the process
that’s working on you.

Keep going.

Because what’s meant for you…
is often on the other side of who you’re becoming.
