HURRAY FOR GINA! ADOPTED!

Gina, her two sisters, and Mama were rescued last May from inhumane, filthy living conditions in Thermal, CA.

Mama and sisters were adopted pretty quickly as they are smaller dogs. Gina is good as gold, but it is harder to adopt larger breeds. However, at Support 4 Paws, we take as much time as needed to find the right home for the pet and the adopter.

It warms our hearts when our dogs come from terrible situations and find loving families and homes. Gina came from a particularly bad area in Thermal. We've rescued many dogs from that location, and they've all been the most loving and grateful. We vet every one of our dogs, provide the necessary treatment, and place them in a warm, loving foster home to heal and decompress.

Kelly and her husband are enjoying all the love and devotion Gina has to offer, and Gina is eating up being the only dog and being doted on.

It's that spooky season! 👻 Time for pumpkin spice, falling leaves, and of course, adorable pet photos in costumes. But before you snap that perfect pic, let's play a game of FACT or FICTION! 🧐

FICTION: "If it fits around their body, it's fine!"
FACT: A costume should never restrict natural movement. Can they walk, run, sit, and bark normally? Do the "bunny hop" = a big red flag! 🚩

FICTION: "A little mask or hood won't hurt!"
FACT: Anything that covers the eyes, ears, or muzzle can cause major stress, limit vision, and even interfere with breathing. Keep those precious senses clear! 👀

FICTION: "They'll just get used to the feeling!"
FACT: Forcing a pet who is clearly stressed into a costume is more than just a bummer—it can be dangerous. Always prioritize their comfort over the 'gram.
