Bartenders who measure up to USBG’s high standards are able to join an organization that promotes a feeling of comradeship and even of family among its members. Chapter members form a network of colleagues who lend each other moral support, share their creative expertise, meet socially, and offer informal professional assistance to each other across the country. Of course, most individuals join because of their proficiency as bartenders and their dedication to the art of mixology. Our annual cocktail competition is the high point of the USBG’s national calendar but members participate in many other local and national events during the year, such as educational and promotional events sponsored by active supporters of the USBG. Our members are dedicated to the craft of mixology and through continuous education and competition amongst piers we will continue to drive the industry standard to new levels of acknowledgement.
