When we talk about the values of Delta Chi, we look to the men who build our foundations. Today, Delta Chi International Headquarters is profoundly proud to recognize Brother John Kehdy—a Founding Father of our University of South Carolina Chapter and an Executive Board member at Gamecock EMS.

Recently, John and his crew responded to a high-stress call that rapidly escalated into a cardiac arrest. Confronted with unexpected challenges upon arrival, the team maintained absolute composure. Through seamless coordination, they initiated advanced life support and delivered high-quality resuscitative care, ultimately achieving sustained return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC).

As a Founding Father at USC, John stepped up to build a brotherhood from the ground up. In the field as an EMS professional, he brings that exact same dedication, composure, and commitment to serving others when they need it most.
