Center load bearing wall is gone thanks to a packed out W8x15 beam. Will have to fit down the ceiling 3/4”, but it beats having an unsightly drop beam in the middle of the kitchen

Progress pics of the cabinets going up. Ceilings primed and painted. Can lights in, finally done with the temp lights. My favorite benchmark of a kitchen remodel, feels like it is down hill from here. New kitchen layout maximized the space we were working with and still gave customer what they wanted, hidden trash cans, pull out drawers, etc. The space feels larger but still is using most of the same footprint.
