It’s been about 4 months since I transitioned my color line to Davines to incorporate more sustainability practices into my business.
I’ll be honest. I was nervous. I knew the color line was quality, but I had been using my previous line for 10 years and switching a tool like that is HUGE. I have had so much fun playing with new formulas and have been happily impressed with the results I’ve been getting. Like this dimensional, rich red!

This week is the beginning of a new era 💫
On Friday— after enjoying a week off to spend with Fox before he begins his kindergarten adventure— I will be coming back to work with a brand new schedule! This has been a long time coming, and is an exciting achievement for me and my business.
For the past decade, my schedule has essentially been the same with a few minor adjustments here and there— I would work very long hours in exchange for more full days off. This was perfect when I became a mother. I absolutely loved having full days with Fox and would never trade them for the world. Over time I started feeling a new level of exhaustion, sometimes brought on just by looking at my upcoming schedule. I knew this was not sustainable and that something had to give.
Now that Fox is beginning his kindergarten adventures I will be taking full advantage of the flexibility a lot of us hairstylists entered this industry for. I will be cutting down to working only one evening, but will remain working every other Saturday for the meantime. This will result in evening and weekend appointments becoming even more difficult to come by, so I appreciate your patience and flexibility. You can find my new hours listed on my website (link in bio).
Thank you to all of my loyal clients, friends, and family who have helped me reach this point in my career! I love you all! 💗

I’m ready to get back into the groove after being immersed in nature during our little anniversary getaway. As hard as it is to convince myself to leave the mountains, I also can’t wait to bring all of the inspiration back behind the chair. Can’t wait for more choppy, wheaty, wavy looks this summer 🌾

Did a major chop and balayage touch up on this past week. I am so honored to have clients who travel to come see me! Bonus when it’s someone who fills my studio with lasting good energy. Make sure to swipe 👉 to see a side angle and the before!
