Here in Indy, a 2x4x8 is about $8, not $5 like mentioned in this article, to give you an idea of the rapid pace of change in material pricing. Prices are still rising and no one knows if and when a correction or stabilization will happen. For us, we are planning on 18 months or longer but some forecasters are saying years to get back to pre-covid prices, if ever.
