Dan Daly, former member of Church of the Holy Cross, passed away.

His viewing will be 6-7p, with Mass of the Resurrection at 7p at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Wednesday, Oct 6, 2021.

Prayers are also requested for his dear wife, Toddy.

Lovely to see Holy Cross's pews have been repurposed in the beautiful new home of Holy Angels Catholic Church - Indianapolis, Indiana.

Prayers answered: Holy Angels celebrates opening new church The church was built where the previous one stood for more than 100 years until it was torn down in 2012 due to mold and structural issues.

Prayers are requested. Fr. Mike Perry was in a serious bicycle accident while riding in Chicago Thursday afternoon. He was riding along Lake Shore when the path changed and he fell directly on his left hip/pelvis. He has severe damage to his pelvic bones and will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning to reconstruct the pelvis and re-align his leg into the new hip socket. His head did not suffer any damage nor his shoulder or arm. We would very much appreciate prayers for Mike as well as the surgeons and all caring for him.

Next Sunday, July 7th, the Holy Cross Church building will be open from 2-4pm for all who would like to gather.

Our stained glass windows have been sold and the process of removing them will begin the week of the 7th. They were purchased by St. John Paul II parish in Sellersburg as they are constructing a new church building and have incorporated the windows into the design.

Sadly we announce the passing of our Joe McGuire who celebrated his 99th birthday on November 1. As I am writing this, I looked up at our Holy Cross Facebook cover photo and there Joe is, at mass, left side on the aisle, as always.

Services will be at 11am on Monday, December 17th at Holy Spirit. Visitation will be from 3-6pm on Sunday, December 16th at Flanner Buchanan Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, and again from 9:30-11:00am Monday at Holy Spirit.

Hello All, The Feast of the Holy Cross is this Friday, September 14. To commemorate the feast day there will be a mass in the Holy Cross Gym at 8:30 on Friday. Mass will be followed by a light breakfast afterward.

We hope to see many of our Holy Cross family there and are looking forward to celebrating mass together.
