The STEM Connection

Summer Camps start NEXT WEEK and we are so excited to have campers back on the farm!

Here are some of the things we are looking forward to:
🐝 Building structures out of materials found in nature
🌎 Becoming Earth Superheros while learning about Earth's atmosphere
🐿️ Investigating native Indiana animals and their habitats

There are only a few spots available to sign up for the following camp weeks:

At The STEM Connection, our goal is to instill a lifelong sense of wonder and curiosity in the youth we serve so they can take their STEM skills anywhere.

Meet Elsie. She has been a STEM kid with us since nearly the beginning. Elsie starred in our STEM Quick Wins series to teach other kids fun and easy ways to do science experiments at home.

Today, she is taking those skills to the next level. Elsie recently won second place in her school's science fair! She investigated differences in bird seed colors and whether or not birds had a preference.

Sunflowers at Sunset is quickly approaching. Here's a sneak peek of what the evening holds:

🌻 World-Class Performer and Songwriter, Sarah Scharbrough McLaughlin, is an accomplished Indiana-based musician with six studio albums who has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists will join us for the evening to create the perfect ambiance for dinner and dancing.

🌻 Award-Winning Mixologist, Matt Gillen, is a Level One Sommelier, creator of Sunflowers at Sunset's signature cocktail, "The Golden Hour," and has earned top honors in multiple regional cocktail competitions. Matt will prepare a cocktail or mocktail just for you as you walk through fields of sunflowers, enjoying the atmosphere.
