📚✨ This past Saturday, the Umoja Library team visited Maliera Comprehensive School for a Reading Competition and Storytelling Program!

A total of 124 learners from Grades 4, 5, and 6 participated in a fun-filled half day of stories, poems, riddles, songs, and memory verses. With an incredible 90% turnout, students showed great enthusiasm and a love for learning. ❤️

Learners received gifts of encouragement, and both students and teachers expressed their gratitude to Umoja and its supporters.

Please keep Umoja Executive Director, Denise Soltis, and the team from Northminster Presbyterian Church in your prayers as they travel to Kenya this week! 🙏

Pray for safe travels, good health, and meaningful connections as they visit the Umoja Project in Kenya. May this trip strengthen relationships, encourage those they meet, and further the mission of transforming communities one child at a time through education.

Thank you for covering this team in prayer as they serve and learn alongside our brothers and sisters in Kenya. 🧡
