Woodson, who stated that he started Negro History Week (now Black History Month) in order to make popular the many truths of our great contributions to world history. We hope that Popular Truth will play a major role in increasing culture, honor, dignity, respectability and spirituality as major values in the lifestyles of all people, and especially Black people. In many ways, Popular Truth is still just getting started in its efforts to touch the mind-set of our people and re-educate the world about the beauty of blackness.
