The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Monumental Awards, presented by Citizens Energy Group, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

INASLA Merit Award (Design-Constructed Works under $2M)

In the wake of a 2019 tornado, the Pendleton community united to rebuild Falls Park Playground—transforming loss into a vibrant, inclusive space for all. Inspired by the park’s wooded past, features like a towering treehouse, story walk, and the beloved “Little Library” celebrate nature and imagination. Today, the 30,000 sq. ft. playground stands as a joyful symbol of resilience, connection, and community spirit.
