Recently when UEi's National Training Manager, Louise Kellar visited with a wholesaler, her CO monitor, UEiCLiP indicating more than 20 ppm CO.

As it turned out, recent warehouse activity of forklifts and docking trucks created the elevated CO that spread throughout the facility. After turning on exhaust fans and opening doors, levels returned to normal.

More importantly than being a very dramatic way of demonstrating our CO solutions, this is a reminder of the significance of CO awareness. It can happen anywhere, even where you purchase CO equipment that helps keep homes and workplaces safe and comfortable. Yet CO poisoning is almost 100% avoidable.

Refrigerant Leak Detector w/ Solid Electrolyte Sensor RLD15B

The UEi RLD15B is an A2L certified refrigerant detector. Equipped with a heated sensor to increase accuracy and reduce false alarms, the RLD15B displays approximate leak sizes with the digital leak size indicator to help pinpoint leak sources. Finally, the mechanical pump draws gas over the sensor faster providing a quick response in a variety of contaminated or windy environments
Detection Threshold: The sensor is sensitive enough to detect gases at or below 5 g/a (grams per annum) for various classes:

• HFCs (Hydrofluorocarbons)
• HFOs (Hydrofluoroolefins)
