The NASW Foundation is proud to announce $73,000 in scholarships to 16 master's-level social work students for the 2026–2027 academic year.

These scholars are committed to serving underserved communities working in health and mental health, criminal justice, foster care, rural settings, and with American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, and African American communities. They represent the next generation of social work practitioners, advocates, and leaders.

This year's recipients span programs at institutions across the country through four named scholarship endowments:

✦ Consuelo W. Gosnell Memorial Scholarship (10 recipients)
✦ Neysa Fanwick Memorial Scholarship (1 recipient)
✦ Verne LaMarr Lyons Memorial Scholarship (4 recipients)
✦ Lawanna Renee Barron Scholarship (1 recipient)
