When Brian came to Shepherd as a kindergartener, he struggled with anger and would scream and throw chairs.

But Shepherd kept showing up for him.

In first grade, Brian built a relationship with a teacher who became a steady source of encouragement and support. Over time, something changed. Anger turned into joy. Fear turned into trust. Today, Brian is thriving as a middle school student and dreams of helping kids like him someday as a teacher or doctor.

Summer at Shepherd is filled with opportunities to learn, grow, play, and discover.

Each day, our Summer EXCEL elementary students in grades K-5 gather for worship and a Bible lesson before diving into reading, math, and hands-on learning. From the classroom to the soccer field, students are building skills, forming friendships, and making memories that will last long after summer ends.

These are the moments your support helps make possible.

Last week, our middle and high school YLIFe students assembled care packages for our homeless neighbors, including toiletries, basic clothing items, some food, and a note about the love of Christ. Students are living out "love your neighbor" this summer.
