IndyGo will switch from MyKey to MyKey+ July 1.

The new payment system will let you link multiple cards to one account so if you’re getting around the city with out-of-town friends, you can buy and activate tickets for everyone from one account.

IndyGo will get rid of ticket vending machines, which are at some bus stops downtown and the Red and Purple line platforms.

If you want to load money to your MyKey+ card outside of the website or app, IndyGo is working with more than 100 vendors around Indianapolis where you can take your card (list linked in the comments).

By the end of the year, IndyGo plans to start accepting tap-to-pay by the end of the year, so you can pay from your debit/credit card or phone.

The last day you can use money from your MyKey account is Aug. 31.
