The Vending Machine: This piece looks simple, but it took a long time to choose drinks that I thought represented the International Marketplace accurately. I used my experience as a cashier at Saraga, talked to friends, and scoped out the grocery stores in the area to make final selections. I was determined to get this right because I liked the idea of a vending machine that represents where our community comes from 🌏🧃🧉🧋🥤

MOTW coffee is smack dab between our homes, so this has become our go-to spot. The staff have grown accustomed to our faces, so this spot is creating great times for me🥰. Thank you for welcoming us.

Another year to reflect and much has happened. I'm fortunate to say many of the events in 2022 have been a great blessing. 🙏Two of my smaller goals were to see an alligator 🐊and Bison 🦬in their natural settings and I am beyond thrilled to have been able to do it.

Now on to thinking about where photography will take me in 2023. I hope one thing that will happen is more collaboration with some of my fellow artists!
