LONG POST ALERT 🚨
For a very long time I have struggled with self esteem and depression. Ever since middle school she really. I had a good life but being bullied in middle school and continuing through my junior year for my hair being natural when going natural wasn’t a thing I was honestly always sad and not confident in myself. I wish I could say that it stopped after I graduated and I suddenly loved myself but everyone who has overcome this knows that is NOT how it works. But I told myself at the beginning of 2020 I’m living for me in whatever aspect that looks like. Taking trips and just loving me. I still had some bad days but 3 days ago I TOLD THE DEVIL NO! This is the end. I will love myself and I will be joyful. Because happiness is temporary. I want that everlasting joy.
And as silly as this video is it captures my personality and 3 days ago I decided that I wanted to change my look so I went to Sally’s with my friend’s help and grabbed some Sizzling copper and copper hair dye and went to work.
This is me!

I know that everyday won’t be perfect but I know that taking strides is what is important right now.
So Miami here I come ❤️

Everyday I’m striving to fulfill those little girl dreams we may have left behind.
That little 5 year old that you see had dreams that this big 26 year old will have the capital to fulfill.
