Balanced Port TXV - HVAC School 01/15/2020

Balanced Port TXV - HVAC School   I walked into a supply house the other day and I was looking at a “universal” expansion valve on the shelf. The friendly guy behind the counter saw me and walked over, after saying hello he offered “That’s a great valve, it’s even balanced port”. Now I am a bit of a trouble maker, …

I don't brag on our service often but this was really nice to receive in an email this morning unsolicited. And it truly represents the way we try to work.

"If you guys are interested, we would love to talk with you about your availability to do preventative maintenance and such. We have 14 stores and really need to get a system going with people we can trust and communicate with. The two of you are obviously those people - I suspected it when I saw how organized the back of your truck was that Sunday night - and then knew for sure when you guys left and said "we will see you next week about the bill.." instead of shaking me down for cash (which I did have in my pocket btw, lol.). Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your service hasn't gone unnoticed and is appreciated."

Micron Gauges Gone Wild - HVAC School 05/07/2019

Micron Gauges Gone Wild - HVAC School We’ve been getting a lot of questions on micron gauges that are ”going haywire” or reading in the micron range even at atmospheric pressure. First, micron gauges measure absolute pressure so you can’t ”zero” them out. They use tiny, very sensitive sensors that are calibrated to air, not ...

Why is the Breaker Tripping? - HVAC School 03/24/2019

Why is the Breaker Tripping? - HVAC School Breakers are designed to trip anytime the circuit draws a current above the rating for a period of time. The time the breaker takes to trip is a function of how high the circuit amperage in comparison to the breaker rating. The higher the amperage above the rating the faster the breaker will trip Br...
