Flashback Friday - The newly extended north jetty as it looked in 1959. Throughout the 1950s, a number of projects were completed at the inlet, including four maintenance dredging projects that removed approximately 355,600 cubic yards of sand and sediment. New concrete construction extended both the north and south jetties to 250 and 175 feet respectively. www.sitd.us/the-history-of-sebastian-inlet
