Little food for thought.

Patience visited me
And it reminded me
That good things take time to come to fruition
And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me
And it reminded me
That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

Friends and family, who have questions or concerns about MLM businesses. I just want to be super clear on this topic. Multi-Level Marketing is a business structure. They provide a business or service and recruit others if they choose. You can choose to be a customer, or you can decide that you want to also become a "promoter, distributor, consultant" and create your own business within their structure, with the option to recruit others to do the same or not. The choice is yours.

These businesses are EVERY BIT AS LEGITIMATE as brick-and-mortar establishments, and I 100% support these businesses, as long as they are operating ethically, same as every other business.

Some of the most successful people I know personally have found their success in MLM's. Others don't find success there at all. As with any business, it's all up to the product, service, structure, work ethic, personality, and how much time and effort each individual puts into the business that determines how successful one can be.

For a relatively small start-up investment, you can build your own business and grow it (or not grow it) as a direct result of your own effort. What is more American than that? (And yes, I'm personally part of a MLM, but that's my personal choice - I have been doing it for over 5 years and it's been a positive and fruitful experience.)

Finally, What is a pyramid? Similar to an MLM type structure regarding recruiting, BUT NO PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS EXCHANGED. For example - Bernie Madoff - Ponzi scheme. THAT is a pyramid. THAT is illegal. What is NOT a pyramid? Tupperware, Avon, Amway, Color Street, PlanNet Marketing, Pampered Chef, Pruvit, Pink Zebra, Mary Kay, Pure Romance, Dresden & Co., Paparazzi Accessories, Herbalife, Rodan & Fields, etc. These all involve a product or service.

So please, no more bashing of MLM's. Welcome and respect everyone's businesses, wish them success, and hope you can support their efforts!!
