In this session, Chop is learning to find heel position independently. You’ll notice he doesn’t get it quite right on the first attempt, so he’s given another opportunity to think through the problem. When he finds the correct position on his own, he’s rewarded.

By fading the lure and allowing the dog to work through the exercise, we build understanding, confidence, and stronger long-term performance.
