Come celebrate the first shift of New Year’s Eve with us! We’ll start slinging cocktails at 6pm, and our ball drops at 10pm (with some bubbly, of course). Hang with neighbors, friends, and hope for better times for all in the new year.

We’ve got all of our seasonal spirits ready and in bottles for the upcoming holiday season, and it’s the deepest lineup we’ve ever had at this time of the year:

cherry brandy – our eau de vie (or unaged) kirschwasser, made from Montmorency cherries grown 75 miles away in Pennsylvania

barrel-aged cherry brandy – we aged our eau de vie from 2023 in a used apple brandy barrel for two years (!)

plum brandy – like a slivowitz, this is also an eau de vie made with 100% Mt. Royal plums, a European variety similar to Damson

pear brandy – an eau de vie made from Bartlett pears, bursting with fresh pear flavor

barrel-aged pear brandy – same as above, but aged two years in a spent apple brandy barrel

coffee liqueur - barrel-aged maple syrup, cold-brewed Ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee from our friends at Vigilante Coffee, and our unaged rye spirit

Not bad! Though, because they’re seasonal, and for our brandies we’re only using the best fruit we can get, quantities are more and less limited. Our online store is up to date, but your best bet is to stop by the shop if there’s something you’d like between now and the end of the year.

And about those hours – we’re going to take a similar approach to last year. We’ll be open the following times between now and next weekend:

Wednesday, November 26 – 12pm-5pm (bottle sales only); 5pm-10pm (with .fi.groovesociety spinning, once again)
Thursday, November 27 – closed
Friday, November 28 – closed
Saturday, November 29 – 10am-6pm (yes, cocktails at 10am!)

We’re also doing a pretty cool promotion: any whiskey, neat, for $8, for as long as we need to. Because f**k ICE.
