The Club also holds club membership in the Texas Chess Association (TCA). We also sponsor frequent chess tournaments, which you can find listed on our events calendar. These are generally open to all players, regardless of playing strength. You must be a member of the U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) to play, but you can join the USCF at the tournament site or online here: https://new.uschess.org/form/membership

This Saturday April 4 The Tarrant County Chess Club is merging our event with the Arlington Chess Club. This a 4 Round event with G/30 time control and 5 second time delay. Many Springs tournament tomorrow (8/17) morning at the North Richland Hills Library. This is a dual (regular/quick) rated quad tournament. The time control is G/60;d5. You can register online for $30 until 8:00 PM tonight. The minimum rating is 1000, but the TD can make exceptions in certain circumstances.
