So there's this part in the book, about midway, that I absolutely loved writing. I mean, I loved writing the whole dang thing, but THIS is one of those scenes that had me kicking my feet.

We return to the church, but the stakes have since been raised. There's drama, there's tension, and in this empty space left neglected by people and time, there's this undeniable pull between Millie and Gray that brings them together again for a moment. There's more than just a hunger for blood, there's a desire for closeness and passion, despite the circumstances or the truths they've both laid bare.

Spicy time in an abandoned church? Yes. I think so.
