Sometimes I don't have a helper to make sure I'm adding my sashing and/or borders on correctly. So this is how I make do. Pro tip: Don't put on chapstick before adding sashing/borders this way. We want these longer pieces added evenly from side to side and top to bottom, but we dont' always have someone to help us hold those pieces taut while we pin. This is how I make do, since I'm not an octopus. 🐙
